Surveys - Whats in it for me?

Surveys - Whats in it for me?
September 21st, 2020

You must have filled 100s of surveys at different websites, in school, people even as you to fill out a survey form at the malls, right? So what exactly is the point of a survey and why should you fill it?

Surveys are used by brands to increase their knowledge in the field of social research and demography. It does so by assessing your thoughts, opinions, and feelings. To understand, let me give you an example. A car company wants to build a new car for North India region. They will go ask potential car buyers of North India on what they like or dislike about cars also their preferences and price range. The easiest way to do this is through survey forms. The car company will send people to public places like malls or car dealership stores where they can meet potential car buyers. Once people fill-up the form, the brand can assess them to come to a decisive conclusion as to what kind of car will best sell out in the North India Region.

Similarly, at Fabpiks we ask fellow samplers to fill out specially curated survey forms to understand their preferences towards specific brand/product. This helps us know what kind of products we should get on our website that our samplers would like to try. We would also get an idea of how we could serve our samplers better.

Brands often get survey forms filled by their targeted audience so they can provide what their consumers desire the most and strive to make themselves better.

Filling surveys truthfully and with caution is also very important. Remember these surveys are for us to understand and serve you better, if you give us incorrect answers it would prevent us to serve you with the best of experience. People who fill out survey forms are also more likely to be chosen for trials for new products and are more eligible to get discounts and offers.

Next time you fill in a survey form – do it carefully!
